Interview with a christian nationalist from Australia
Church of the Swedes talk to Hagen C. Palme, a nationalist activist and christian who has founded the Australian Identity Church
It's like something out of Europe's turbulent 1920s politics. Black-clad ranks, marching with flags, drums and singing songs that echo throughout the streets. But it's not 1920, it's a hundred years later, and it's not continental Europe but Australia. It's Australia Day and members of the nationalist group NSN are celebrating the day with a march through Adelaide in South Australia.
In the ranks we find Hagen C. Palme, the leader of the NSN's Western Australia chapter, 28 years old, with family ties from the 18th century to the influential swedish Palme family and a devout Christian. And alongside his nationalist activism, Hagen runs a Christian project, the Australian Identity Church.
- Greetings to all my brothers and Sisters, my name is Hagen Palme and I am the founder and president of the Australian Identity Church. My fathers side came to Australia from England in the 1920's and my mothers side came from Germany in the 1950's.
For a active nationalist like Hagen, the Christian faith is a must and it goes hand in hand with nationalism. Closest to his heart is Psalm 121, a pilgrimage song said to have been sung by the Israelites, and the verse Luke 1:37 “For with God nothing is impossible.”
- I view our nationalist struggle inherently linked with the greater cosmic struggle that started long ago in Genesis. I feel that we are on a divine mission from God, to free our people from the seed of satan. Our political movement is the physical force, and Christianity is the spiritual force. They are two essential pieces of our greater struggle.
A constant quest for knowledge has been with Hagen all his life. It was when he understood the European connection of the Israelites, the historical context and the evidence in the history of our people that the Bible and the faith finally fell into place.
- I am a seeker of knowledge. I have spent my whole life seeking to know everything I possibly can on a wide variety of things. I have always held a deep interest in the history and culture of our ancestors and the Aryan race. Since a young child, I have always been heavily interested in ancient history, Germanic Paganism and Norse / Greek mythology. I did not view these stories as pure "myth" and felt like these stories were telling a real story of our peoples past. I discovered the works of Thor Heyerdahl and Snorri Sturluson which introduced me to the idea of a real life Odin, who led an exodus from the caucus region into Europe. Through this research is where I came to discover British Israelism. The theories proposed made me incredibly interested, so I decided to study the Bible in a historical context. Through discovering the identity and links of the Lost Tribes with the Germanic and Celtic peoples, all the puzzle pieces began to fall into place. This is where I discovered Christian Identity (Tanken att Européerna är israeliterna, red. anm.). I had always felt in my heart that Christianity was the truth, but the Bible had never made full sense to me when I was younger and I had fallen into the same mind set as majority of our race do today. Once I started to look at the Bible through this racial lens, everything finally made sense to me. The historical, anthropological and theological evidence is all there.
With his faith, and strengthened by his (unfortunately otherwise rare) knowledge, Hagen felt like he had to do something to spread the good word - was it a calling? A close friend one day told him about the Church of the Swedes. Inspired, he founded the Australian Identity Church and precisely afterwards SVK's Archbishop Karlsson got in touch with him - was it more than a coincidence?
- I have had thoughts of starting a Christian Identity Church in Australia for a few years, but felt like I didn't know where to start. One day, one of my comrades and I were discussing starting the AIC and what symbol we should use. He sent me a link to the Church of Swedes website and that is where I found the inspiration for our symbol. Within 1-2 hours of starting the telegram channel, I noticed that Ärkebiskop Karlsson had joined. I reached out and coincidentally he was sent our channel from his comrade also, I took this as a sign and conformation from God that we were on the right path.
The vision of the AIC: to spread true Christianity, free from heresies and modern decay. A Christianity of folkchurches.
- My hope for the AIC is to be a beacon of light in the darkness of this modern world. Many of our people have fallen into the lies and perversion of our faith and have become disillusioned with Christianity as a result. I hope to introduce both Christians and Pagans to the racial truth of Christian Identity and the divine plan that God has for us in this cosmic struggle.
And speaking of heresies and modern decay, the established “churches” and fallen Christendom does not get a good grade from Hagen.
- Modern churches are the whore of Babylon. The state of Christianity in Australia is the same that we find in the rest of the western world. They have sold their souls for earthly gains. They are motivated solely by money, power, greed and personal gain. We saw this very clearly with Covid and how quickly they bent the knee. They have strayed from Gods commands and constantly poison our races minds and souls with their tainted “communist” teachings.
Hagen blames the reason for this decline in Christianity on cowardice within the churches and distortion by foreign forces.
- Firstly, they are cowards. Secondly, they are subverted and controlled by evil, whether knowingly or unknowingly. They are afraid to be called “racists,” or “Nazis.” They lack true faith in God and are terrified that if they speak up, they will lose their materialistic worldly goods and their positions. If you truely had faith in God, then you would not fear.
Christianity, as preached by the Australian Identity Church and others, free from heresies and modern distortions, is disliked in this fallen world. Often its followers are accused of spreading hatred, “racism” and many times they are even accused of not even being Christians, the color-blind universal modern Christianity is the true faith the fallen churches claim. Hagen C. Palme stands his ground and says that the doctrine he follows is the true one.
- I am definitely racist, but I am not “unchristian.” Christianity itself is racist. It is a religion only for the European / Aryan race and until the 1500’s this view of Christianity was held. It wasn’t until the Jesuit infiltration of the churches in the 1500’s that this modern “universalist” view of Christianity has emerged. Prior to this, there was no attempt to preach or convert non-white races to Christianity.
Not only does our Christianity face backlash from the fallen world, but within our nationalist ranks there are people who look at Christianity with more skeptical eyes. A confused perception that our worldview is “alien” to Europe is often the basis of skepticism.
- I have had a positive and receptive interested in these ideas, but of course there is some ridicule and hostility from our Pagan brothers. Some Christian’s within our movement already have some basic knowledge of Christian Identity and are interested to learn more. I understand the challenges that some Christians and Pagans have exploring and understanding these concepts due to the overwhelming brainwashing, psy-ops and corruption of our faith. I urge Christians not to engage with your brothers with hostility even if they are hostile towards you. Forgive them, for they know not what they do. Be patient, be steadfast and act with maturity, empathy and understanding. Be a shining example of our faith and let God do the rest. Christ will open their hearts and minds when he decides, not us. Do not engage it arguments for the sake of arguing or trying to be “correct,” it is counter productive to our overall mission. Our main priority is to ensure the survival of our race and to secure our future.
Continuing on the topic of confused brothers and sisters of our people, Hagen urges all Christian nationalists to fortify themselves with knowledge, history and scripture - all can be saved, but it may take time.
- Be patient with them, it’s not easy to awaken from this deep sleep we have been put under. I urge all nationalist and Christian’s to thoroughly immerse yourselves in history and scripture. Never stop learning. You have to be willing to put in the time and effort to study these concepts. I find it easier to convey the ideas of Christian Identity because I have intimate knowledge of how our opponents think and feel. Empathise and learn where they are coming from, so you can understand their mindset and better engage in a dialogue with them.
Finally, Hagen wants to share a word of encouragement to all Christian nationalists who have yet to engage in the real world.
- If you are not prepared to die for your beliefs, then you do not truely believe in them. I urge you to think upon Ephesians 6:10-14: “Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might. Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.”
- Remember that you have nothing to fear and in the end, we will win.
- Why? Because “Gott mit uns.”
The Church of the Swedes thanks Hagen C. Palme and the Australian Identity Church for this interview!
